Using InCopy’s Thesaurus
Go to Window > Thesaurus or use the keyboard shortcut by pressing Command–Option–F7 (Mac) or Control–ALT–F7 (Windows).
Select a word in the text.
Click the Load Word button
at the bottom of the panel.
The word you had selected will appear in the Lookup line at the top of the panel.
Click the Lookup Word button
at the bottom of the panel.- If you want to change the selected word to one of the Synonyms:
- Click on the Synonym you want.
- Click the Change Word button
at the bottom of the panel. (Or just double–click the Synonym.)
